Sticky Apricot Flapjack Recipe

Makes enough to feed a small greedy film crew of 25.  On an ordinary day halve the quantities. 200g butter 1 tbsp. golden syrup 200g demerara sugar 150g oats 100g self-raising flour 100g crushed cornflakes 150g chopped dried apricots 1/  Preheat oven to 190ÂșC 2/  Melt butter and syrup. Mix in apricots. 3/  In a separate bowl, mix together remaining dry ingredients. 4/  To this add the butter/apricot mixture. Stir till combined 5/  Pack into a baking tray pressing it in firmly. 6/  Bake for 15min until just firm. 7/  Cut into bars whilst still hot and then let it cool in the tray.
