Buying some of the specialist materials solo can be a bit pricey up front. Workshops have been a great way to either split the costs between a group, or trial the craft before ordering your own supplies.
I love how versatile resin is. We’ve used all sorts: colouring the resin with eye shadow, using up nail art glitters, raiding the hedgerows and drying flowers in the microwave (yes that is a thing!) and laminating tiny pictures with sellotape before casting them in resin.
